bembridge shed
The Bembridge Men's Shed has been meeting for several months at the Scout Hut in Mitten Road, Bembridge, PO35 5UP, every Tuesday afternoon at 2pm. New members always welcome.
they have acquired a portacabin to create their shed in Steyne Road Recreation Ground, but due to the ground conditions it may be a while before the shed is able to be put in place. . This will take a while but the men are very keen to work together on community projects until they get their building on site. A lot of work, grant applications and cups of tea will be needed in the mean time.
So far this year they have made bird boxes for the literary festival, scenery for the local am dram group, held a tool sale and are about to embark on some ground improvements in the village.
